We write for people making a considered education decision. A useful page should explain the decision it supports, identify the facts behind consequential statements, and leave the reader with a practical next step. Repeating a university’s promotional claims is not a substitute for examining the underlying program information.
Source selection
For program facts, use the university’s official program, catalog, admissions, tuition and disclosure pages. For accreditation and professional practice, consult the relevant accreditor, government directory or licensing board. For occupational context, identify the government dataset, occupation and reporting period. Institutional averages are not presented as the results of a specific master’s program.
Writing and review
- Check that the exact degree, campus or online division, credential and program route match the source.
- Separate tuition from required fees and distinguish unknown amounts from zero.
- Describe optional tests, conditional waivers and tests that are not required as different policies.
- Keep state enrollment authorization separate from professional licensure eligibility.
- Identify a responsible contributor; do not invent qualifications, quotations, reviews or a specialist endorsement.
Editorial assistance
Research and drafting may use software, including AI assistance. Assistance does not turn an unsupported statement into a verified fact. The publisher remains responsible for the published page, and consequential program information must be checked against its cited source. A tool-generated suggestion is not a university decision or a substitute for a licensing-board determination.
Updates and corrections
Programs change. Page update dates describe editorial changes; field-check dates describe when a particular fact was checked. We prioritize changed prices, admissions rules, availability and deadlines. When a consequential fact cannot be confirmed, the record must return to review or clearly show the unresolved information.
Our Data and Sources
We record program information with field-level sources, check dates and explicit unknown values. Federal institutional data has a different scope from a current graduate program record.
ExploreAdvertising Disclosure
Commercial arrangements must be identified where they affect a visitor’s next step. Inclusion in our catalog and the accuracy of program facts are separate from a university’s delivery partnership.
ExploreCorrections
Report a possible error with its page URL, the exact claim and a current official source. We assess the affected fact and update its status rather than silently treating uncertainty as confirmation.
