How the interface is designed
The rebuilt interface uses labeled controls, semantic headings, visible keyboard focus, readable type and layouts that adapt to narrow screens. Comparison tables preserve row and column headings. Tool results use status announcements, and motion is reduced when that preference is present. The cost and study-time calculators also provide a form submission that can return results without JavaScript.
Research and planning
You can browse the subject guides and use ordinary program filters without an account. Program information includes explicit text for unknown details rather than relying on a color or icon. Save, comparison and private-plan features use interactive controls; contact us if a particular control prevents you from completing your task.
Our target and current limitations
Our design target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA. A target is not a certification or a claim that every possible browser and assistive-technology combination has been tested. Checks for this release covered keyboard controls, accessible labels, automated contrast checks and layouts from 320 pixels through desktop widths. Comparison tables scroll horizontally on narrow screens. A dedicated screen-reader speech review has not been completed. University websites and other external resources are maintained by their own operators. We cannot change their interface, but we can help identify the official destination for a program.
Report a barrier
Email tom@ffventures.com with the URL, the task, and what happened. If useful, include your browser, device, zoom level or assistive technology. You can describe the problem in text; a screenshot or personal medical information is not required. We do not promise an immediate response, but clear reports help us reproduce and prioritize the issue.
Corrections
Report a possible error with its page URL, the exact claim and a current official source. We assess the affected fact and update its status rather than silently treating uncertainty as confirmation.
