Start with the exact degree title
The FHSU routes researched here include an MLS in Public Administration, an MBA with Leadership Studies, an MPS in Human Resource Management and an MS in Instructional Technology. These are different credentials. The public administration route is an MLS rather than an MPA, and a concentration within an MBA or MPS is not counted as a new university or an additional copy of that degree.
Read both the current academic catalog and the program page. A broad degree can contain a specific concentration, while an appealing career description may say little about the required learning. FHSU publishes a combined online graduate tuition and fee rate for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027, with different billing for MBA core courses. Check whether special course fees, application charges, materials, travel or other personal expenses apply. Published rates can change, so a whole-degree calculation holding one year’s rate constant should be labeled as an estimate with that assumption. FHSU identifies the Higher Learning Commission as its institutional accreditor. Industry alignment, a certification opportunity and professional eligibility are separate claims.
