Build a scenario for the entire degree rather than comparing a headline rate. Start with a current university price schedule and the required credits or terms. Add mandatory fees and expenses that apply to your situation.
How this estimate works
| Component | Treatment |
|---|---|
| Tuition | Rate × your stated credits or terms; a flat program price is counted once. |
| Mandatory fees | Your total for the scenario. Blank means unknown, not zero. |
| Additional expenses | Your selected supplies, travel and other direct costs. |
| Confirmed support | Nonrepayable aid or applicable employer support, shown separately. |
| Loans | Financing only; they do not reduce the degree’s price. |
Use comparable scenarios
Keep semester and quarter credits distinct. For a subscription or term-priced program, state how many terms you plan to use, then test an additional-term scenario. A shorter completion plan is an assumption until the university confirms its feasibility for your schedule.
What to confirm with the university
- Which rates and mandatory fees apply to your residence, program and academic year?
- Can rates change before you finish? Are prerequisites or repeated courses extra?
- Are books, software, equipment, residencies or placement travel included?
- Does employer reimbursement arrive before or after tuition is due?
- What happens to aid, tuition refunds and repayment if your course load changes?
This tool is a calculation of your inputs, not a price quote, aid determination, borrowing recommendation or promise of financial return.
